Toyotomi Hideyoshi 

Toyotomi Hideyoshi served Oda Nobunaga.

After the Honnoji Incident, he established a foothold(足がかり)  in the unification(統一  )of Japan.

He became "Kanpaku(関白)," the highest rank in the Imperial Court(朝廷).

He subjugated（したがわせた） all the daimyo（大名） throughout the country and nearly achieved national unification.

1537

Born as the son of a peasant in Owari Province (Aichi Prefecture).

1554

He served Oda Nobunaga.

1582

After Nobunaga was defeated by Akechi Mitsuhide in the Honnoji Incident, he defeated Mitsuhide.

1583

He defeated Shibata Katsuie in the Battle of Shizugatake, paving the way for the unification of Japan.

1585

He became Kanpaku/関白, the highest rank in the Imperial Court.

1585-1588

He nearly achieved national unification. 

1592

He begins his campaign against Korea. This is the Bunroku War/文禄の役.

1597 

He again sends troops to Korea. This is the Keicho War/慶長の役.

1598

He dies.

豊臣秀吉は、織田信長につかえます。
本能寺の変後に天下統一の足がかりをきずきました。
「関白」となって公家（朝廷）の最高位につきました。

全国の大名を従わせ、全国統一をほぼなしとげました。

1537年

    尾張国（愛知県）で百姓の子として誕生。

1554年

    織田信長につかえます。

1582年

    信長が明智光秀による本能寺の変で倒されたあと、光秀をうちます。

1583年

    賤ヶ岳の戦いで柴田勝家を滅ぼし、天下統一への道を大きく開きました。

1585年

    関白に就任し、朝廷の最高位に就きます。

1585年〜1588年

    全国統一をほぼ成し遂げました。

1592年

    朝鮮出兵を開始します。文禄の役

1597年

    再度、朝鮮に出兵します。慶長の役

1598年

    亡くなります。

Oda Nobunaga

• 1534--1582 
• 1560     Achieves a great victory over Imagawa Yoshimoto at the Battle of Okehazama.
• 1573      Expels the 15th shogun  Ashikaga Yoshiaki, bringing an end to the Muromachi shogunate.
• 1582    Honnoji Incident.   Killed by Akechi Mitsuhide in the Honnoji Incident.(49 years old) .  Toyotomi Hideyoshi took over the unification of the country.
    

• 1560年: 桶狭間の戦い。彼ははるかに大軍であった今川義元を奇襲し、見事な勝利を収めました。
• 1573年: 室町幕府の第15代将軍である足利義昭を追放しました。室町時代は終わりを告げました。
• 1582年: 本能寺の変。京都の本能寺に滞在中に、明智光秀の裏切りに遭い、襲撃を受け、自ら命を絶ちました。（49歳）。天下統一は豊臣秀吉に引き継がれました。
