お寺では、おおみそかに除夜の鐘を108回ならします。
私たちは108の煩悩（ぼんのう）をもっています。
一つ一つの鐘が煩悩を消し去ってくれます。
それで、新鮮な気持ちで新年を迎えることができます。

The bell on the last day of the year
Temples ring their bells 108 times at midnight of the last day of the year.
We owns 108 desires.
Every bell sound erases our 108 desires.
Therefore we can cerebrate the New Year in refreshed feeling.
